Segers Aero Corp is proud to have served the aviation industry since the 70s. The company is located on the Gulf Coast of the United States in the town of Fairhope, Alabama. The company sits on a plot of over 50 acres and occupies a 126,000 square foot facility adjacent to H. L. Sonny Callahan Airport.
A brief timeline of major events is below:
1976: Company established as T56/501 Repair Station (NATS)
1999: Segers Group acquired NATS
2008: Company was relocated to Fairhope, Alabama
2009: Pratt & Whitney Canada and Hamilton Sundstrand 54H60 propeller both added to the capability
2012: Awarded Rolls-Royce Authorized Maintenance Center status
2014: Designated a Lockheed Martin QEC Service Center
Segers Aero is part of the Segers Group which has MRO and aftermarket operations in the US, UK, UAE, South Africa and Singapore
2015: Segers was the first facility selected worldwide to install the upgraded Rolls-Royce T56 3.5 engine, since then 15 engines were upgraded in Fairhope
2016/2017: Long-term support agreements with various customers across the globe inclusive of AAR, Chilean Navy, Derco, NOAA, Safair and the US Navy
2018: Accessory &Component Business separated to increase capacity for dedication to growth; and new support shops-Inspection, NDT, Cleaning & Paint
Segers Aero received AS9110C certification
2019: Segers Aero Corporation received Honeywell Approval on Fuel Components for T56/501 engine.
2020: ARF received by Rolls- Royce for the T56 Series IV (T56-A-427 & T56-A-427A)
2021: Segers received approval for the only MRO worldwide USAF “firewall forward” for the C130 aircraft, being the Lockheed Martin QEC’s, Rolls Royce T56 engines & 54H60 propellers.
